Report

As part of the B.Ed curriculum we went to a study tour on 20th december 2022 and it was a 3 days trip. It was a great experience for us.

Day:1 (December 20, 2022)

Went started our journey at 5.30 AM from the college. 

By 8AM we reached Adoor for our breakfast. 

We had breakfast from hotel Paradise. 

Then we went to Anchuruli dam by12 O'clock. It is emerging tourist destination in Iduki. We spent some times there and enjoyed.

After having our lunch, we went to beautiful destination Kalvary mount. It was such a mesmerizing place I really enjoyed the beauty lf the place. 

The Kalvary mount view point offers a charming view of Iduki reservoir. We had some leisure time there and it was a great experience.

By evening, we reached Iduki dam. It is double arch dam constructed across the Periyar river in a narrow gorge between two granite hills locally known as 'kuravan' and 'kurathi' in Kerala. Afer the security checking we entered into the dam. We spent some time there then went to the hotel, where we were provided. That is to the hotel Safair there we had a DJ program. We were really enjoyed it Finally we had our dinner and went to the rooms.

Day :2 (December 21, 2022)

 

After having the breakfast, by 8.30 AM we checkout from the hotel we went to Munnar. Yesterday's long walk or travel or dance didn't make us tired, we were very eager to see munnar. By 10.00AM we reached there. Munnar welcomed us with a foggy hug. We proceed to the rose garden, a house of flowers and fragrance. It was a beautiful place to see. We spent some time there then went to munnar top station. All of us were truly exited to see the view from top station. 

Then we move to kundala dam, while travelling to the dam in bus we saw many tea fields. That greeny picture of land wearing a foggy hat was an amazing view to our eyes. After spending some time there we had the lunch and went to echo point and tried to echoing the hills, after that we were allowed to do some shopping for almost 45 minutes. We enjoyed the place and had a little shopping. 

The next destination was the heart of munnar, the tea factory. There the guide explained us the working of the factory. We spent some quality time there and also allowed to buy tea from there. 

In the evening we went to Munnar town for shopping. We split into small groups and went for shopping. By 7.30, we all reached the bus and went to the hotel. And the curtain down for the 2nd day.

Day: 3 (22 December 2022)

The third day of our trip was to Marayoor. At 8.00AM we hade our brake fast we gone to a trekking trip. The first destination was Marayoor sandalwood forest. We reached there by jeep. Then we went to kanthalloor point where the film Bhramaram shooted. That was an of road journey, we really enjoyed it. We spent some time there and moved to the next place. Marayoor jaggery is a famous thing. We went the centre of making jaggery there. We were allowed to buy it there. Then we got a great and stunning trekking experience from there to muniyara. It was truly a thrilling experience. We spent some time there and after that we started our return trip after the lunch. At night we had a small christmas celebration. By 12.00 we reached our place. These three day were really memorable moments our B. Ed life.
